Obun2 Launches ‘Child Nexus Pakistan’ to Strengthen Child Rights Monitoring

1 min read

In an important development towards enhancing evidence-based policy and advocacy for children in Pakistan, Obun2, in partnership with the National Commission on the Rights of Child (NCRC), has developed a comprehensive dataset on child rights across the country. This initiative responds to the urgent need for structured, reliable, and regularly updated information on the status of children in Pakistan—spanning education, health, child protection, climate change, and other critical indicators.

The newly launched Child Nexus Pakistan platform serves as a centralised hub of child rights data, offering policymakers, researchers, civil society, and development partners access to curated datasets.I t is designed to strengthen accountability, inform programmatic interventions, and support alignment with Pakistan’s commitments under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

The dataset is now publicly accessible at: https://stateofchildren.com/child-nexus-pakistan/

This platform will be regularly updated to ensure that stakeholders have access to the most current and relevant data for monitoring and advancing child rights in Pakistan.
