LAHORE: A 17-year-old girl was shot dead by her uncle in Chung’s Gopay Rai village. According to officials, the suspect opened fire on his niece, Samaha, early in the morning before fleeing the scene.

The victim suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Upon receiving information, police shifted the body to a morgue for post-mortem via an Edhi ambulance and launched an investigation. Initial findings suggest that the suspect had an argument with family members a few days ago, which led to the fatal attack.
