Baloch Students To Get Benazir Scholarship

Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has announced Benazir Bhutto Scholarships for students in the province.

He underlined the vital role of partnerships between the government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) at a conference organized by the Department of Social Welfare in Quetta.

He shared strategies to advance sustainable development, improve public welfare, and address societal issues across the province.

Chief Minister highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in launching welfare projects designed to enhance the quality of people’s lives.

He acknowledged the widespread issue of corruption and emphasized the government’s commitment to implementing necessary reforms.

Addressing unethical behaviors, such as the submission of fake degrees during merit-based recruitment in the education sector, he urged all citizens to prioritize accountability and integrity.

Bugti announced plans to hold an annual NGO conference to strengthen collaboration and foster shared understanding. He encouraged active participation from everyone in combating corrupt practices, promoting a culture of trust and transparency.

Turning his focus to youth empowerment, the Chief Minister introduced initiatives aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs. Through a partnership with Akhuwat, the government will offer interest-free loans to educated youth, helping them develop and execute innovative projects.
